Update from Fr. Bill – 8 August 2020

PLEASE NOTE THAT UNDER THE CURRENT STAGE 3 RESTRICTIONS ACROSS METROPOLITAN MELBOURNE OUR CHURCHES HAVE AGAIN BEEN CLOSED AND THERE ARE NO PUBLIC MASSES UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

- For details of how the shutdown affects the Parish and our public worship see point 6 below.

Dear Friends

As across Melbourne we enter into deeper stages of lockdown and isolation, not knowing where the end may lie, and Covid-19 seems to be strengthening rather than abating, today’s Gospel reading reminds us that there will always be times of stress and danger when faith may be tested and sometimes fail. But this never means that God is not with us. It is our ever-present God who reaches out to us and brings peace saying ‘Courage – it is I…do not be afraid.’

Please note the following update material so you can stay in touch with Parish life and continue to nurture your spiritual life and sense of community – even in isolation.
